When we first visited New Living works in the beautiful countryside near Livorno in Northern Italy, we knew straight away that we would have a lasting relationship with them. The whole place has feel of traditional craftsmanship about it. It was obvious from the works in progress that these people cared about what they made, and what they made was made well. We are glad to report that we have not been disappointed, the stairs that we have received since have never failed to impress

The Portofino spiral stair together with its sisters The Tiffany, Broadway etc. have lots of options to mix and match from. Whether it is stainless steel with glass or hardwood or an all timber spiral this luxury range has it all.

• Diameters from 1100mm to 2200mm: means this range is suitable for both main house and secondary stairs.
• Heights up to 4300mm.
• Centre pole, handrails and balustrades: in powder coated steel, stainless steel or hardwood.
• 2 systems of balustrading: Vertical balusters or wrap around bar type.
• Treads in hardwood or glass: beech,iroko or oak in various wood stains to suit any decor
• Matching landing balustrading: to surround stairwell, suitable for round or rectangular openings and balconies etc.
• 3 Landing options: triangular, round and trapezoidal

As all stairs are factory assembled before being dismantled for shipping, we have confidence that what is in the box will work, and that is not always the case when importing goods of this nature.

We also beleive that these luxury stairs represent excellent value for money when compared to similar stairs manufactured nearer to home

As each stair is custom-made, we do not publish a price list, but will be glad to supply both price and friendly technical advice on request. For your budgeting purposes, staircases in this range will typically cost between £4000 and £8000.
